The Coalition for Smart Growth will be hosting the first ever Mt Comfort Development Summit, a one day event celebrating the growth and development that has happened in recent years along the Mt Comfort Road Corridor and in the adjacent communities.
Regional leaders from both the public and private sectors will come together to present projects underway, and discuss how we can grow going forward.
Updates will be provided on several development projects including Gateway by Hancock Health, McCord Square, the Indianapolis Regional Airport, and more.

- Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Attract and retain innovators, entrepreneurs, and businesses
- Talent & Workforce: Attract, train, and retain a talented and highly skilled workforce
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Increasing diversity and promoting equitable and inclusive development
The Mount Comfort Region includes the towns of McCordsville, Cumberland, New Palestine, and East Indianapolis, as well as unincorporated Hancock County. Over the last decade a number of partners in the region have been working together to promote investment, placemaking, and community building through initiatives like READI, the Mt Comfort Corridor Plan, and the Coalition for Smart Growth ULI Study.
